A total of 50 young cybersecurity enthusiasts from 12 countries took part in the second edition of Capture the Flag (CTF), organised by Dubai Police in collaboration with Great Minds Event Management.

The challenge, which took place at Hub Zero, City Walk, provided an opportunity to apply penetration testing and analytical skills in a real-world cyber security scenario.

The participants were shortlisted from among a total of 220 applicants after passing an online test.

During the two-day challenge, participants faced pre-designed cyberattacks with their capabilities tested through identifying anonymous cyber threats and thwarting them.
