Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has appointed a new managing director for its Saudi unit.

As MD for HPE Saudi Arabia, Issa Naseer Al-Khamees will focus on developing and implementing HPE’s long-term strategy to grow business in the Kingdom, the company said.

“Al-Khamees appointment will increase our ability to contribute effectively and accelerate the digital transformation to support the digitisation objectives across sectors, businesses and organisations in the Kingdom,” said Johannes Koch, vice president and managing director Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Central Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Al-Khamees was previously country sales director in HPE Saudi Arabia, and brings over 20 years’ experience in IT, sales cycles, consulting and client account management.

“I am very excited to lead HPE Saudi and look forward to leading the company through the next phase of its growth, as the Kingdom aims to become a global investment powerhouse,” Al-Khamees said.
