Bespin Global acquires UAE-based cloud consulting company Falcon 9

The acquisition was made to immediately access the Middle East cloud market, estimated to reach $4bn by 2022.

UAE-based cloud technology consulting and management company Falcon 9 was recently acquired by Chinese-Korean cloud management company Bespin Global, a spokesperson from the latter announced on Monday. The new company, called Bespin Global MEA, is said to launch this month, and build significantly upon the original Falcon 9 team by expanding existentially in the UAE, KSA, and Bahrain. The aquisition was made to immediately access the Middle East cloud market, which is estimated to reach $4bn by 2022, according to Gartner.

John HanJoo Lee, CEO and co-founder of Bespin Global, said, “As the largest cloud force in East Asia, Bespin Global is now expanding into the MEA market through the acquisition of Falcon 9. We will not only help our MEA customers adopt the Cloud, but also support them to harness the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI).” He continued, "Bespin Global MEA will provide end-to-end cloud services to accelerate the region’s digital transformation.”

Speaking about the relationship, Mouteih Chaghlil, Founder of Falcon 9, added, “Falcon 9 and Bespin Global share the same DNA, and aligning our cultures and inspirations accelerates our global growth. Falcon 9’s local market presence and Bespin Global's worldwide resources will create synergies to match the region's growing technology demand.” He continued, “The new company focus will be to enable customers on their journeys to building data-driven organizations through the Cloud, DevOps, Big Data and AI technologies.”
