Abu Dhabi Ports selects Dell Technologies in digitisation push
MoU seeks to accelerate the adoption of emerging technologies such as blockchain and AI
Abu Dhabi Ports has entered into a strategic partnership with Dell Technologies to integrate some of the latest technologies into maritime operations and solutions
Under an MoU signed at Dell Technologies World in Las Vegas, the IT giant will provide the port operator with consulting services and help them leverage high value-added technologies such as blockchain, and artificial intelligence (AI) to fuel their digital transformation journey.
In addition, the partnership will also see an exchange of industry best practices and expertise needed to develop integrated smart ports that can better serve the customers and other stakeholders of Abu Dhabi Ports.

Over the past few years, Abu Dhabi Ports has made significant strides in harnessing digital solutions for trade and port communities. In 2018, it launched Silsal, a blockchain-based solution aimed at streamlining trade flows and supply chains.
