Network Middle East recognises industry excellence at annual awards

Sixteen winners feted an awards luncheon in Dubai; RTA major winner for the day

The winners of the 14th edition of the annual Network Middle East Innovation Awards have been announced today at a luncheon in Dubai.

From an original 75 nominations, 16 winners were announced, split evenly between vendor and implementation categories.

The winners this year were a mix of private and public organisations. Perennial contenders the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), were the main winner on the day, taking home two awards. 

In the vendor categories, industry heavyweights Dell, Avaya, Fortinet and Huawei all won in their respective categories.

In our individual categories, Anshul Srivastav, CIO, Union Insurance won the Networking Professional of the Year honour, with the judges impressed by the insurer’s digital efforts and Srivastav’s efforts in leading that transformation.
