Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has a new head for its Saudi operations.

The tech giant has appointed Issa Naseer Al-Khamees as the new managing director for HPE Saudi Arabia, tasked with implementing HPE’s long-term strategy to grow business in the Kingdom.

Al-Khamees brings with him 20 years’ experience in IT sales, consulting and client account management. He has previously served as country sales director for HPE Saudi Arabia.

Johannes Koch, vice president and managing director Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Central Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa said Saudi Arabia’s commitment of making the most of modern technology to deliver economic and social growth makes the Kingdom a thriving and promising market.

“Al-Khamees appointment will increase our ability to contribute effectively and accelerate the digital transformation to support the digitisation objectives across sectors, businesses and organisations in the Kingdom,” Koch said.

HPE has a deep understanding of the local Saudi market, having delivered successful projects over the last three decades.

“I am very excited to lead HPE Saudi and look forward to leading the company through the next phase of its growth, as the Kingdom aims to become a global investment powerhouse,” Al-Khamees said.
