Huawei's new wearable, the TalkBand B5, will go on sale in the UAE from tomorrow.

The latest wearable device from Huawei, the TalkBand B5 combines a wristband with Bluetooth headset that can be mounted on the wristband or worn separately, with a range of additional sport and business straps available.

The B5 is the successor to the TalkBand B3, but with a 2.4 times bigger display, boasting a 1.13-inch AMOLED touchscreen display with 2.5D curved glass and 160 × 300 pixels resolution.

The new tracker will enable users to monitor health around the clock, with Huawei TruSeen heart rate technology for continuous heart tracking and monitoring when running, treadmill running, walking and riding. Huawei Trusleep tracking technology, which was certified by the CDB center at Harvard Medical School, can precisely monitor different stages of sleep including light and deep sleep, REM sleep stage, and wakefulness to provide users with an intimate sleep care.

The HUAWEI TalkBand B5 is IP57 water and dust resistance so it works in rain and snow conditions, as well as being sweat resistant and functioning whilst washing hands.

The TalkBand B5 will be available from 20th August from retailers and the Huawei store in Dubai Mall. The TalkBand will sell for AED 699 for Sports Black Silicon Strap version and AED 799 AED for Business Mocha Brown Leather Strap version.

David Wang, UAE Country Manager, Huawei Consumer Business Group said: "The HUAWEI TalkBand B5 is the best health wristband with calling features from the Huawei wearables series. Built with the industry's first triple-core audio chip, dual-MIC noise reduction technology and high-quality Bluetooth connectivity, HUAWEI TalkBand B5 is set to be the perfect companion to consumers' mobile devices."
